WiFiSetGo Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by WiFiSetGo at www.WiFiSetGo.co.za. By making use of our services you agree to be bound by these terms.

General Terms

  1. All customers are required to register with their legal names and provide accurate contact details. WiFiSetGo reserves the right to verify the identity of all customers.
  2. Payment is required by debit order or EFT. Prepaid packages must be paid in full before activation. Failure to pay on the due date may result in suspension or termination of services.
  3. WiFiSetGo respects the privacy of its customers and will not share personal information with third parties without consent, except where required by law. A full privacy policy is available on request.
  4. Credit is not extended to customers. Services are provided on a prepaid or debit-order basis only.
  5. Refunds are not provided for services already rendered. In the event of a legitimate billing error, WiFiSetGo will credit the account accordingly.
  6. Shipping, delivery and installation are subject to availability of resources and technicians in the relevant area. WiFiSetGo will communicate estimated timelines to the customer prior to installation.
  7. Equipment supplied by WiFiSetGo carries a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse, power surges, lightning, or physical damage is excluded from warranty coverage.
  8. All official correspondence, invoices, and notices will be sent via email or WhatsApp to the contact details provided at registration. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure these details are kept up to date.
  9. WiFiSetGo reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of material changes via email or WhatsApp. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  10. Technical support is available six days a week, from 08:00 to 17:00. Customers may contact support via telephone at 076 655 3211 or via WhatsApp.
  11. Additional cabling and general IT support not directly related to the WiFi installation or service is excluded from the standard service offering and will be quoted separately if requested.
  12. WiFiSetGo will not be held liable for damage to equipment or infrastructure caused by lightning strikes or electrical surges. Customers are encouraged to use appropriate surge protection devices.
  13. Where WiFiSetGo's service relies on fibre infrastructure provided by third-party operators (including but not limited to Vumatel or MWeb), WiFiSetGo cannot be held responsible for outages or service degradation caused by those operators.
  14. WiFiSetGo reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice to the customer. Customers will be notified of pricing changes at least 30 days prior to the change taking effect.
  15. Contracts are subject to a minimum term of three (3) months. Cancellation requires one (1) calendar month's written notice, submitted to admin@wifisetgo.co.za. Early cancellation may result in a penalty equal to the outstanding months of the minimum term.
  16. Equipment supplied by WiFiSetGo and installed at the customer's premises remains the property of WiFiSetGo. If the account remains unused or unpaid for more than 60 days, WiFiSetGo reserves the right to retrieve the equipment.
  17. The customer indemnifies WiFiSetGo against any claims, damages, or losses arising from the customer's use of the internet service, including but not limited to illegal activities conducted using the connection.
  18. If any clause of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses will continue to be valid and enforceable.
  19. WiFiSetGo will make every effort to supply the package selected by the customer. In exceptional circumstances where a specific package is unavailable, a comparable alternative may be offered. The customer retains the right to decline the alternative and cancel without penalty.
  20. Prior to installation, the customer must provide all required documentation, including a copy of a valid identity document and proof of address. Installation will not proceed until documentation is received and verified.
  21. At the expiry of any fixed-term contract, the service will automatically revert to a month-to-month arrangement unless the customer elects to renew on a fixed term.
  22. Accounts that fall into arrears will be suspended after a grace period. Reconnection following suspension is subject to payment of all outstanding amounts plus a reconnection fee where applicable.
  23. Customers are obligated to notify WiFiSetGo promptly of any changes to their contact information, physical address, or billing details. WiFiSetGo will not be held liable for missed communications resulting from outdated contact details.
  24. Upgrading to a higher package may require additional or replacement equipment. The cost of such equipment will be communicated to the customer in advance and must be settled prior to the upgrade being implemented.
  25. The first month's billing will be calculated on a pro-rata basis from the date of activation to the end of the billing month. Subsequent months will be billed in full on the agreed billing date.
  26. WiFiSetGo will provide advance written notice of any changes to service fees, package inclusions, or fair-use policies. Notice will be given at least 30 days before such changes take effect, and customers who do not accept the changes may cancel in accordance with clause 15 without incurring an early-cancellation penalty.
